Travel and Accomodations

Travel To/From Airport:

Fort Worth is conveniently located in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area, which offers two international airports: the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport and Dallas-Love Field Airport. The DFW Airport is the closest to the hotel and TCU, at about 33 miles away.

The Trinity Metro Texrail offers a train to/from Terminal B in the DFW Airport to downtown Fort Worth. The cost of a train ticket is $3.The Texrail connection works best if you don’t check bags.   If your flight does not arrive in Terminal B, get on the Skylink tram (take the escalators up to the second floor to catch the tram) before exiting the secure terminal area. Take the tram to Terminal B, exit the secure area, and follow the signs for “Rail to Fort Worth.”   It will take you out of the terminal building and around the corner to the train station.

If you have baggage, you’ll need to pick it up at the baggage claim and then take the Terminal Link bus to Terminal B to get to the train station.

Uber and Lyft are available in north Texas so either of these is a cost-savvy option for transportation to/from the train station or airport. A direct cab ride from the DFW Airport costs about $60. For a cab, you can contact United Cab Services at (817)819-7787 or Yellow Cab Company at (214)426-6262. Shuttles are also available from the airport for about $30. Super Shuttle and GO Airport Shuttle are two companies that commonly travel to Fort Worth. You can check shuttle times at www.shuttlefare.com or call City Shuttle L.L.C. at (214)777-7777, Go Yellow Checker Shuttle at (214)841-1900, or Supershuttle DFW at (972)456-3128 to book in advance.
